Happy New Year everybody. It's your friendly neighborhood Willie reporting in with another smashing look into the lives of my Lovely and I. The holidays were splendid. Liz and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the families that we love so much. Allow me to break it all down. We spent Christmas with Liz's mom. We slept over with a handful of siblings. Santa brought me a DVR (no more missed Jazz games!) and Liz got two new video games. Liz? A gamer? Bah! She's always having to kick ME off, what would she do with a video game? And two video games at that! Well, the games are called Dance Dance Revolution and she gets to dance to her little heart's desire. I love the fact that I have to kick HER off now. I captured one of her dance fests, but she has forbidden me to post it online. Keep your eyes peeled; I may bootleg it.
Anyway, we switched from being with Marylin to being with Scott and then back again, all whilst making various phone calls to my folks in both Wyoming and Oklahoma, as well as siblings in Idaho and Florida. Honestly, holidays are rad because we get to be in contact with everyone that we love. We spent the next few days between the two companies again and simply enjoyed the Christmas spirit. We've been so blessed to be surrounded by so many people that love and support us. If we haven't told you lately, thanks for all you do for us. We love you guys and love being a part of your lives.
I better cut the sentimental stuff out because people are going to think that Liz underwrites my posts. She doesn't, and to prove it I'll move on to football. I loved the Utah game. No other bowl game this year has been nearly as enjoyable to watch. Sure, some have been close (unlike that BYU game, yikes) but I haven't really cared about how Boston College does, and so on. For a more detailed rant you can visit my personal page HERE. I can be a little more candid there.
Lastly, we had a DDR party for New Year's Eve. Honestly, the guys in the family dominated the time. Why? Are we not manly men? Must we base ourselves with arcade mincing and prancing? The answer is a resounding yes. It was a lot more fun than I had anticipated. (Ladies, thanks for being such good sports. We probably should have let you dance more. Blast our Man-Pride!) Anyway, here's hoping we all enjoy this next year.
Lovely post...but where's what I really want to read about???
