Baby baby c'mon, baby c'mon, baby c'mon...

Here I sit, officially 40 weeks pregnant tomorrow. That elusive 24th of July is knocking on the door, and my hopes of delivering early have been dashed. Impatience has led me to intensify my daily walks, eat extremely spicy foods, and attempt every other wives tale that doesn't guarantee the side effect of horrendous sickness and hours in the bathroom. In case you're wondering...still no baby. My plan? Today I've decided to just let myself forget I'm pregnant and plan a fun-filled holiday weekend of parades, BBQ's, and fireworks. And if those plans get foiled -- so be it!

Last week we squeezed in boating TWICE in an attempt to speed things along and tempt fate (or really just to have a good time before we're more confined to indoor activities).

Now here's a man pumping himself up for waterskiing (or really just to get in some chilly mountain lake water).
The two Crazies in the front getting jostled around. Don't ask about my ensemble.

As we ate some sandwiches, Dad threw some bread in the water that attracted a TON of seagulls. We watched in horror as they began pooping over our heads and food, but thankfully there was just enough wind to thwart an otherwise well-aimed bomb. As we started moving in self-preservation, we resembled a fisherman's boat coming in from the sea with a dedicated following of those pesky birds.
On the second trip, we crashed Matt and Jess' boating party with their friends. The sun was a bit stronger that day, and as you can tell, these two very white people got a little fried.
Will was an immediate success on the wakeboard.

Thank goodness for cropped life jackets, there's enough room for the belly! It was so nice to cool off!

And yes, I convinced Will and Matt to let me ride the tube just long enough to get some sweet pics.

Really, we just barely planed out, and I felt like the little kid that everyone was giggling at.

With our fingers crossed, the next post will announce the birth of our little girl! Unless of course I'm still bored and decide to post some nursery pics...we'll see!
