Postal Smorgasborg

Postal Smorgasborg = "a random blog post that haphazardly combines topics, subtopics and photos due to large increments of time passage." As you can tell, I simply rock at Balderdash.

Well folks, buckle up because you're in for a real treat--I have lots to share! Let's start off with the fact that I have been a brunette for the past 2 months. And I'm sure you're all dying to know whether life is just as fun without blonde hair. The verdict? YEP. Let's just hope my intelligence has improved for these upcoming finals. (Yet based on my recent mishap of turning cookies into hockey pucks, it's not likely).

Thanks to Jess for a fun hair dying session and for giving me the courage to go dark,
and thanks to Heather Cuppy for touching up a faded late-night die job.
Oh wait. Looks like Olivia wants to take over:

Hey there, Livvy speaking.
Just wanted to share a few things I've been up to lately:
First of all, SPLASHING in the tub!
I love the water, especially when my cousins come to swim.
Next year I hope to be as brave as Shelby.
She gets tossed through the air and LIKES it.
But for now, I'm perfectly content cuddling with Grandma on the sidelines.
Check out my two antenna curls. Go OU!
And mom, I know you mean well, but here's a little parenting tip:
PLEASE let me watch more of my Baby Genius DVD.

I promise I would smile more, dance more, and constantly yell in delight if you would simply comply. I'm learning loads of how to sing, dance and play.

I know it may have upset you when I wouldn't take my eyes off the screen to look at you even though you were singing and dancing ridiculously while trying to get my attention.
But really mom, just a little more time, please?
Next to Baby Genius comes my jumper.
This is where I practice my singing and dancing skills.

Talk to the hand.

Enough of my toys, I wanna play with mom's.
And this is how I prefer books--in my mouth.

Enough of the cabin fever, Mom and I are getting so excited to spend more time outdoors!

I love taking walks to the duck pond.

The geese were so friendly, I started to talk to them. Our conversation became so animated that a passerby commented on my extraordinary ability to speak Geesese.

Thanks for stopping by, I'll turn the time back over to mom.

Well that's a glimpse into our lives as of late. Lots of Livvy, as you can see.
She's become our favorite source of laughter. As much as I love holding a tiny newborn in my arms, it's a serious blast hanging out with this 8 month old.
Speaking of newborns - Livvy has two new twin boy cousins, Caden and Blake, (well done Emily and Nate) and another girl cousin Lila coming this week (Good luck Lethe and Tristan.) YAY!

  1. Hey Liz! It was fun to see you guys at Wal-mart the other day! Livvy is growing up so fast! I LOVE your hair by the way! I did that once too...it was fun for about 6 months, then I got tired of having to dye it constantly. :)
